I finally got my dream gun :D It’s an ICS Sig 551! This is my first brand new gun I’ve ever had! I had to trade my Masada but it was definatly worth it!
Always thought SIGs were cool as shit if I get another airsoft gun, it’s gonna be a SIG
So I’ve been having an issue with the 9.6v 1100mAh battery that came with my Velocity Arms VK47. Basically what happens is that my Tenergy smart charger will say that the battery is fully charged after about 15 minutes. When I connect the battery, I’m only able to shoot 4 or 5 VERY slow shots. I know it’s not the charger cause I can charge the 9.6v 1600mAh battery and use it with no problems. I am getting the issue resolved though so there is no reason to worry. Yay for customer service!

Lemme get this straight. If I want to have a full metal airsoft gun, it has to shoot between 366 and 500 fps which is considered an uncontrolled firearm. But if it shoots UNDER 366 fps and is full metal then it is considered a replica firearm and is therefore illegal.
???
Does this not make sense to anyone else? If I were to get an airsoft 1911 that fell under the classification of a replica firearm and a 1911 that looked exactly the same and shot between 366-500 fps, the only difference I can tell is that the legal one would shoot at a faster speed which would potentially make it more dangerous?
I feel like there might be one additional factor that I’m not understanding here but I haven’t a clue as to what it might be.
What do you guys think?
Ok apparently I can’t buy any WE pistols from Airsoft GI and have them shipped to Canada because they shoot under 360 FPS. Guess I won’t be able to get a 1911 pistol. Can anyone suggest any GBB pistols that shoot over 360 FPS?
AirsoftGI is sold out of the WE 1911 in black. I don’t like the silver…
